MASSAGE THERAPIST 600
The Academy of Massage and Bodywork, Ltd. offers a 600-hour Massage Therapist Program that prepares you for employment as a Licensed Massage Therapist in states that require a passing grade in the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), governed by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards which includes the State of Delaware, and where the required number of hours is met.
The curriculum for the Massage Therapist Program includes; Anatomy and Physiology, Massage Theory and Technique, Professional, Ethical, and Legal Issues, Contraindications, Applied Theory and Technique as well as Elective and Alternative Modalities such as; Eastern, Oriental, Western and Ayurvedic Modalities, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Pre-natal and Infant massage, Hydrotherapy, Body Wraps, Neuromuscular Techniques and CPR certification.
Day Classes
Massage classes are offered Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Night Classes
Massage classes are offered Mondays through Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
